Class Features

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Twinblade gains no additional proficiency with any weapon or armor.

Twin Strike: A twinblade’s familiarity with two-weapon fighting styles allows him to make lightning strikes with both his weapons. In combat, can use a standard action to make an attack against a single target with both his main weapon and his off-hand weapon. Using a dual strike incurs a –2 penalty to the twinblade’s AC for the round. The normal attack penalties associated to wielding two weapons still apply.

Dual Finesse: Beginning at 2nd level, the twinblade begins to adapt his style of fighting so that he eventually wields two weapons as easily as others wield one. As a result, his attack penalties while two-weapon fighting are reduced by 1 point. This penalty reduction occurs every level thereafter, until, at 5th level, the twinblade’s penalty for two-weapon fighting is reduced by 4 points (effectively negating all penalties, even when fighting with two medium-sized weapons). Note that this ability never results in a "bonus" to his attack roll, only a reduction of the two-weapon fighting penalties.

Dual Threat: At 3rd level, a twinblade gains the ability to feint with one weapon, while attacking with the other. As a full-round action, the twinblade can make a feint check against his opponent using one weapon (player’s choice), then follow it up with an attack from his second weapon. If the feint was successful, the opponent is denied its Dexterity bonus to AC for the second attack.
At 5th level, the twinblade becomes even more skilled with this maneuver. As a full round action, he can make his feint, and then follow it up with attacks from both weapons. If the feint was successful, the opponent is denied its Dexterity bonus to AC for both attacks.
Note that this maneuver must be declared before the feint check is made, and the follow-up attack must be made, regardless of whether or not the feint check was successful. The twinblade executes these attacks so quickly, that once he has committed himself to action, he cannot change course.

Disarm Defense: When a twinblade reaches 4th level, he can use one weapon to defend the other against a disarm attempt, even against a skilled combatant. Whenever an opponent attempts to disarm one of the twinblade’s weapons, he can make an attack roll against the attacker with the other weapon. He may make this attack even if he has already used his attacks of opportunity for the round, and regardless of whether or not the opponent has the Improved Disarm feat. If this attack does any damage to the opponent, the disarm attempt fails.
