Departure

You’re leaving now. We’ve been so close for so long that I can’t remember life without you. And yet now I must face the daily struggle without you to fall on. It seems we were always leaning on each other: two lopsided souls that depended on one another to stand upright. You are a part of me and now I must learn to cope without you. But how can I, when the only thing I can look forward to is when we meet again?
