Caladam Brookstone

Caladam was born and raised in Trinsic some twenty years ago. His training in the ways of the paladin was conducted under the tutelage of his uncle, Chakaras Brookstone, a renowned Warder in the city's elite military. His uncle's philosophical beliefs rubbed off on the impressionable young Caladam, leading to his eventual departure from the Virtues and newfound belief in the tenants of Order, Chaos, and Balance. Standing at six feet, seven inches and well-muscled Caladam looks a somewhat imposing figure. His light blue eyes seem to constantly assess what they gaze upon, a trait seen in most paladins as a result of their training.

Emaandra Kithain

Quiet about a painful past, Emaandra Kithain now looks only to the future. She spends her time with her husband Mikhail, among her extended family, which includes the guild Tao, and among the animals and beasts she calls friends. A master of the arcane arts, she seems an unlikely figure in the world of politics — though for her it is a natural addition to the course of her life. However, this is not to say that she won’t grumble as the word “politics” reaches her ears. Despite a past wrought with betrayal, Emaandra is fiercely loyal to those she loves and greets the world with an open mind and an open heart.

Jewel De’Sylvan

At first, she seemed a shy little thing, innocent and untouched by the evils of the world. But Jewel is anything but... The legitimacy of her birth contested, she grew up shunned by her wealthy Britain family. Seeking companionship with street children and orphans only increased her family’s frustration. Hoping to kill two birds with one stone, her family (entrenched in inter-house politics) sent her off to an Assassin’s Guild — cutting her off from the “undesirables”, and creating a useful weapon for the family. However, shortly after leaving, Jewel’s mother finally lost her long battle with illness. Stricken with grief, Jewel left her training and began wandering. Settling down with her new family in the Arcane Order, Jewel is still haunted by dark secrets and persistent enemies. Recent events have taken her once timid, but generally happy self, and left a shrewder, colder Jewel to cope with the trials to come.

Mikhail Kithain

Originally from a land known as Barsaive, Mikhail is a sailor to the core. Having been captain of The Bloodhorn, an airship, he has had to make a great deal of adjustment — including a life sailing at sea rather than the skies — since coming to Sosaria. He loves the sea, as he loves his wife, Emaandra, with all of his heart and soul. Mikhail can be very demanding when put in a position of command, but does only what he feels is best, and will never ask anything he is not willing to do himself. Otherwise, he is a very easy going man who likes to laugh and is exceedingly loyal to those he loves.
